Maître Laurent MONTAGNIER is a graduate of the University of Paris II – Panthéon ASSAS, where he obtained his master’s degree in employment law and his postgraduate diploma (DESS) in Employment Relations Law and Practice (DPRT) under the supervision of Professor Bernard TEYSSIE.

He was sworn in as a lawyer in January 1998.

After working in the employment law departments of a number various internationally renowned law firms, where he gained recognised experience in both advisory and litigation work, Maître Laurent Montagnier set up Montagnier Avocats in January 2002. His main activity is to assist and defend the interests of companies in relation to their employment law and industrial relations issues.

This day-to-day support has also enabled the firm to acquire in-depth knowledge of the specific needs of senior executives and managers when trust has broken down and it is time to consider severing relations and negotiating a settlement package.

These activities, which feed off each other, enable the firm to provide its clients with a dedicated, made-to-measure service that enables them to grasp the issues and challenges well in advance, while focusing on the social and tax optimisation of severance payments, and post-termination support.
